Saturday Night Wine Review in Brief - 2009 Las Rocas Garnacha

Very fruit forward with dark fruit like blackberries and plums, it is a good drinker but those who find over-oaked wines off-putting might not like this as it does have a boldness to it.
We liked it though and at $16 it is pretty good value. Spanish wines remain a strong interest for us.

Smell (0-5) | Blackberries and plums with a lot of oak. | 4.0 |
Taste (0-10) | Medium bodied with Blackberries and plums with a lot of oak as well. Very tannic and it lingers....and lingers | 8.0 |

Good wine and it stays on the palate for a while. Enjoy!
Keep on drinking!
